We could not have asked for better weather today. We were met this morning with less than 2 foot seas and a beautiful clear sky. The Fishing was just as pleasant with nice solid Red Snapper and a fast limit of Kingfish. Even managed to chum up a couple nice Gray Snapper. We are pleased to see that our Snapper season has been extended and now have a few more days open to fish for them. Looking forward to what looks to be a really nice first week of the 2013 Season. The Redfish have been consistent on the nearshore trips. These fish give you the ability to battle fish over 20 pounds without the Expense or the Time spent on a longer boat ride. Note the Freeport Skyline in the background.
This trip will stay good through the End of May. . Capt Mike The Wind has been unusually tough the past few weeks , keeping us from making any long runs to speak of. Thankfully the nearshore fishing has been fairly consistent. We are less than a month away from Red Snapper season starting and looking forward to its arrival. we still have some days open and would like to have the opportunity to show you what a world class snapper fishery looks like.
